2. Services covered by these Terms

These Terms apply to the Worcco Arts ecosystem, including:

  • Worcco Arts website
  • Learning platform
  • Store
  • The Navigator’s Guild learning platform at Learning platform
  • Worcco Arts digital products, downloads, portfolio pages, project pages, and blog content
  • free maritime learning material, drills, quizzes, and exercises
  • paid 1:1 online maritime learning sessions, where offered
  • related contact, payment, store, checkout, and communication flows

The store at Store is a Gumroad storefront. Purchases made through Gumroad are also subject to Gumroad’s own terms, policies, and checkout rules.

Additional product-specific terms may appear on a checkout page, product page, payment link, store page, or product description.

If product-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms apply to that specific purchase.

3. Difference between the main site, learning platform, and store

The main Worcco Arts website at Worcco Arts website is primarily a static informational, portfolio, project, and blog-style website.

The learning platform at Learning platform is a separate web application. It may include user accounts, saved learning progress, points, quizzes, drills, exercises, and related learning features.

The store at Store is operated through Gumroad and may be used for digital products, downloads, demos, or other store-based offers.

The learning platform may also display short platform-specific notices that point back to these main Terms.

4. Educational purpose

The Navigator’s Guild and related maritime learning sessions are provided for educational support, self-study, topic review, and general learning purposes.

They do not replace:

  • official maritime training
  • official examinations
  • maritime certification or licensing
  • local laws and regulations
  • official nautical publications
  • onboard procedures
  • professional judgment
  • advice from competent maritime authorities, certified institutions, or qualified instructors where required

No maritime licence, certificate, or official qualification is issued through Worcco Arts unless this is expressly stated in writing by a certified institution or competent authority.

5. Free learning material

Some learning material, articles, drills, quizzes, and exercises may be available free of charge.

Free material is provided for general educational use. We try to keep the material useful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or suitable for every situation.

You should always verify important maritime information with official sources, current regulations, nautical publications, and qualified instructors or authorities where appropriate.

6. User accounts and progress

Users may be able to create an account on the learning platform to save progress, track completed material, earn points, or use similar learning features.

Account progress, points, XP, badges, completed lessons, quiz results, or similar features are for motivation and learning support only. They do not represent official competence, certification, licensing, or examination results.

You are responsible for keeping your account login secure. You must not share your account with others or use another person’s account without permission.

We may suspend or remove access if an account is used abusively, fraudulently, or in a way that harms the platform, the service, or other users.

7. Paid 1:1 online learning sessions

Paid 1:1 online learning sessions are live educational sessions delivered online.

A session may be used for:

  • questions about maritime topics
  • review of learning material
  • course preparation
  • navigation, seamanship, safety, VHF, or COLREG basics
  • discussion of weak areas from self-study
  • general maritime learning support

The exact content of the session depends on the learner’s questions, preparation, and the agreed topic.

Paid sessions are not emergency support, operational maritime advice, legal advice, or official examination preparation based on confidential or protected exam material.

8. Scheduling paid sessions

When you purchase a paid online session, you purchase one online session of the duration stated in the product description.

Unless otherwise stated, the date and time are agreed manually after purchase.
